Cinema. One was born during the Cannes Film Festival 2024, as the paths of three individuals crossed, bound together by fate in a way that would shape their future journey. It produces feature and aura films, specialized in movies where reality and cinema merge, inspire, and influence one another. Through this reciprocal interplay, it is intended to create a cinematic experience that goes beyond traditional storytelling.
Cinema. One aims to offer an immersive, transformative experience for both the audience and the people in the film. Moreover, it explores and supports new approaches to film funding.
Alexander Loch founded Cinema. One after Fabia Mendoza and Nell Pietrzyk invited him to play a role in their film, not long after he had taken on his first role as an actor in a feature film that led him to Cannes.
With Cinema. One, he bridges the gap between the big screen and everyday life: What role do we play in our own story? How do scripts shape our thinking? And what lessons can we take from cinematic masterpieces to apply in our own lives?
Join us on a journey through the world of cinema – discovering new perspectives on stories that resonate beyond the closing credits.
